Electricity Facilities Guangri Guangzhou Co., Ltd. (EFG), is a joint venture state-owned holding enterprise with Taiwan, Hongkong, which was founded in October 1998 and established by Guangri Stock. As a high-tech enterprises,the plant area has about 60,000 square meters large with garden type. The company has seven series of products, including LED lighting and drive series, power module series, electronic and electrical series, control cabinet series, operation series, elevator car decoration series, and elevator special wire and cable series.

Project Background

EFG focuses on the supply of elevator accessories and assembly parts for Hitachi Elevator, Otis Elevator and other well-known enterprises, and actively strides forward to the new energy industry, creating a domestic well-known brand of EFG photoelectric industry. The company has set up branches in Shanghai, Chengdu and Tianjin. With the continuous growth of the enterprise in recent years, the enterprise is facing new management challenges. Due to the isolation of business system and financial system, as well as other plug-in systems, EFG Information Center has no choice but to maintain and upgrade many systems. The management can't get accurate cost, inventory management level and other data in time, resulting in the delay or error of management decision. The existing system can't expand the supply chain business to customers / suppliers due to the architecture problems. With the rapid development of the company's business today and in the future, this will become a stumbling block. Solution

EFG uses Microsoft Dynamics AX to achieve sales management, procurement management, product data management, box head management, R&D management, warehouse management, production management, master planning, quality management, group finance, internal company transactions and other business capabilities.

Product data management

Combined with the characteristics of elevator manufacturing industry and the unique operation mode of Guangri Group. Materials are classified according to their properties, and material codes / specifications are automatically generated. AX flexible BOM designer is used for BOM design. For external customer supplied BOM, batch import method is adopted to quickly generate engineering BOM. BOM data change is managed strictly according to ECN process;

Box head job number / box number management

The elevator industry is a highly customized industry, and the delivery of products requires the parts and accessories to be packed in different wooden cases according to job number / box number. EFG uses the material dimension of job number to realize the whole process tracking by job number. The repeated creation of material code is avoided;

Sales quotation management

Finance can quickly calculate the material, labor and cost of products through BOM cost calculation, and automatically generate the lowest sales price with appropriate profit. When quoting, the system will automatically compare the quotation with the lowest sales price, and different approval processes will be used in different situations.

Sales reconciliation Management

Import the statement data provided by the customer into AX, and the system will automatically perform matching reconciliation. After the matching is successful, sales invoice can be issued. The manual work and mistakes are reduced.

Supplier platform management

EFG makes full use of the SharePoint platform to communicate and manage suppliers, including:

1. Suppliers can download the approved purchase orders through the platform and confirm the delivery date;

2. The supplier enters the inquiry price through the platform and checks whether the inquiry is accepted or not.

3. The supplier prints the delivery note through the platform, and EFG can directly call the delivery note in AX to confirm the receipt.

Production plan management

The planned production order and planned purchase order are automatically generated by MRP operation, and then converted into formal documents after confirmation by the planner. After the customer provides the updated pull plan, you can import the pull plan data and automatically update the corresponding sales order / production order according to the job number.

Production Kanban management

Bar code management is adopted for production completion and warehousing, and the production progress is dynamically displayed on LED Kanban to strengthen the execution of on-site management.

Manufacturing cost sharing management

The manufacturing cost is automatically allocated to the corresponding production order according to different cost centers, which ensures the accuracy of the cost to the greatest extent.

Group financial management

Adopt the group financial control operation mode to ensure that all branches adopt the same accounting standards. Automatic generation of consolidated financial statements, financial statements to achieve fast, efficient and accurate.
