On the morning of October 10, 2019, HOYA Group D365 One-China ERP project kick-off meeting was held in Guangzhou. The project chose Microsoft's ERP product Dynamics 365 to provide solutions for HOYA Group Company.As the implementation party of the project - IWS, assigned Duan Yubo as the project director and Guo Qizhun as the project manager. All senior management from HOYA Group Asia Pacific, key leaders of IT department, and key users such as managers of each department were introduced to the project's implementation scope, project plan, project research, project tasks and programs, implementation methodology, project tracking and management, and other important topics.
HOYA originated from Japan and was established in 1941. Guanghao (Guangzhou) Optical Co., Ltd. is an important optical lens production base of HOYA Group, and is also the key target of this ERP project. The company is mainly engaged in optical vision products, mainly produces and sells high quality optical lenses with an annual production capacity of 6 million pieces, and its products are sold all over Europe, North America, South America and Asian countries as well as in China.
HOYA Optical's lens brands include HOYA, SEIKO, PENTAX, etc. To serve the diversified market and to be the most competitive manufacturer in China, HOYA has leveraged the combined advantages of mass production factory and super garage to continue to build a leading supply chain system and finally selected Microsoft Dynamics 365 as the solution software for One-China ERP project to work towards its ambitious strategic goals.
A few months ago, HOYA Group started a tender for ERP project. After a fierce competition with several competitors, IWS, with its excellent solution blueprint, rich implementation experience and strong comprehensive strength, won the recognition of HOYA and became the implementation partner of HOYA Group's ERP project. This ERP project mainly covers the integration of the whole supply chain information from end consumers, sales stores, trading companies to manufacturing plants. There are automatic order system between internal companies, automatic pricing system, integration of manufacturing, integration of logistics tracking, integration of group financial reports and other comprehensive integration of multiple systems of multiple companies. The project will first provide solutions for three companies of HOYA Group in Guangzhou and Shanghai, and more business needs will be incorporated into Dynamics 365 ERP system in the future.
